Alafia and welcome. Alafia is an African greeting of warmth and blessing. Conviction of the Heart: A Prescriptive For Inner and Global Peace is an inspirational, self-help, spiritual memoir. My name is Linda J. Crane. I run an Intuitive Life Coaching practice in Orlando, Florida called Mirror Image: www.mi-spirit.com. I’m also in the process of building an animal reserve/human retreat in the Smoky Mountains of southwestern North Carolina called Shaman Safari Reserve and Retreat. I began writing and illustrating Conviction of the Heart November 20, 1997. The final step of completing the first draft of Conviction of the Heart consisted of producing its cover artwork. Ironically, I finished the cover illustration on September 9, 2001, two days before the Twin Tower/Pentagon terrorist attack. In order to surmount the terrorist, political, religious, and environmental challenges besieging our planet, the inner conflict at the root of these life-threatening problems must be addressed and amended.

As a youngster, I was an unusually devout child. This was due in part to experiencing a supernatural incident at the age of ten. After this incident occurred, I started wondering, “Why isn’t there peace on earth? What’s causing all the trouble?” It took a few decades to learn the answers to these questions. Conviction of the Heart tells the story of the Divinely guided journey that taught me the answers; a perfectly woven series of life challenge that mystically revealed a sound solution to dousing the apocalyptic wildfire of—hate, prejudice, war, crime, anger, addiction, depression, and murder—threatening earth and all of her inhabitants. Conviction of the Heart was written to inspire and motivate humankind (individually and collectively) to actively participate in uniting and advancing our planet toward global peace. Peace on earth will remain an impossible dream until a monumental percentage of human begins diligently focus on achieving peace within. The million-dollar question is… How does a human attain inner peace? The answer… With Conviction of the Heart.

Conviction of the Heart’s cover illustration is on the following page is.It symbolically represents being one with the earth, with the sky, one with everything in life. It also represents the eight chapters in the book. The colors used in the design symbolize the four colors of the human race: Red, Yellow, Black, and White.
